Unlikely. The Starlight remains docked throughout your event, offering a completely stable experience. The Scarlett Belle cruises slowly through the calm, protected waters of Channel Islands Harbor, where there are no ocean waves. Both vessels are large and steady, making seasickness rare – even for sensitive guests.

Yes! Both vessels are designed with safety in mind. The Starlight and Scarlett Belle are fully enclosed and feature secure railings along the perimeter of all exterior decks. We also carry Coast Guard-approved life vests in both adult and child sizes. 

Yes! Most events are scheduled for 3 hours, with 4 hours typically reserved for weddings. This timing works well for a full celebration, including dining, entertainment, and photos. If you’re planning a longer ceremony or want extra time to relax and enjoy, additional time can be added—just ask when booking.

Absolutely. Whether you’re planning an intimate event for 20 or a full-scale celebration with up to 150 guests, there’s plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. The Scarlett Belle offers two spacious decks for dining, dancing, and celebrating without feeling crowded. The Starlight features three levels, giving your event an impressive sense of space, flow, and flexibility – perfect for larger gatherings or events with multiple setups.

Yes guests using wheelchairs or walkers can usually board via our boarding ramp, and there is ample space on the main deck for comfortable movement, including access to restrooms. Please note that the upper decks are accessible by stairs only. Our team is happy to assist when needed – just let us know in advance so we can help ensure a smooth experience.

No problem. If a guest needs to return to shore early, Harbor Patrol can assist with a safe transfer back to the dock. While it doesn’t happen often, we’re prepared to ensure everyone feels comfortable and taken care of throughout the event.The Starlight  being docked you can come and go .

No need to worry our vessels are almost entirely enclosed, so your celebration can continue comfortably, rain or shine. In the event of heavy wind, the captain may decide to keep the vessel docked for safety. Either way, your event will go on smoothly, and our team will ensure the experience remains just as special.

Our crew includes experienced, hands-on deckhands who routinely monitor the engine and systems to prevent issues before they arise. In the rare event of a mechanical problem, the vessel will simply remain docked, and your event will continue as planned. Your comfort and experience are always our top priority.

Absolutely. Many couples choose to hold their ceremony elsewhere and celebrate with a reception-only event on board. Pricing remains the same you’ll simply have more time to enjoy the celebration with your guests.

Yes! Ceremony rehearsals are available by appointment and are priced at $75. We offer a 30-minute rehearsal held off the boat in the grassy area next to the dock, giving your wedding party a chance to walk through the ceremony and feel fully prepared for the big day.

Yes there are several hotels within a 5-mile radius of the harbor, offering a range of options for every budget and style. Whether you’re looking for a waterfront stay, a family-friendly hotel, or something simple and convenient, there are plenty of accommodations just minutes away.

Yes, a guest list is required for boarding. We ask that you assign someone from your group to check in guests on the day of the event and hand the final list to our crew before boarding begins. About 15 days prior to your event, we’ll also review your floor plan, guest count, and any personal items you plan to bring—so everything runs smoothly.

We provide a custom map and directions that you can include with your invitations or share digitally. This ensures your guests know exactly where to park and how to find the dock on the day of your event. Clear signage will also be available at the harbor to help guide them.

Yes, we offer a variety of vegetarian options, and we’re happy to tailor the menu to meet your guests’ dietary needs. Just let our planning team know during the booking process, and we’ll make sure everyone is taken care of.

We welcome decorations that personalize your event!

You’re welcome to bring real or silk rose petals (a small handful or basket is perfect). However, for safety and cleanliness, we ask that you do not bring open-flame candles, confetti, or rice. If you have specific decor ideas, feel free to check with our planning team in advance.

We provide linens for your event, including tablecloths, overlays, and napkins. You can choose from a variety of colors: Black, White, Ivory, Burgundy, Hunter Green, and Navy Blue. You’re welcome to mix and match—many guests select one color for the tablecloth and another for the overlay to create a custom look.

No appointment is necessary—though you’re welcome to schedule one if you’d like! We can easily reserve your date by phone, email, or fax, whichever is most convenient for you.

To reserve your date and time , the initial deposit is $2,000 for private events and $3,000 for weddings. This deposit goes toward your total balance. We accept cash, credit cards, or personal checks for the deposit.

Our crew will take care of setting up your tables, chairs, and linens for you. You’re welcome to come onboard 1.5 hours before your event start time to decorate, with up to three adults allowed during that time. All decorations must follow the pre-approved guidelines discussed with our office team. If you need extra time for setup, just let us know—additional time can be arranged for an added fee.
